Background to health

I was diagnosed with Lupus at age 20 and from being hospitalised and unable to walk, I built myself up to full fitness, running marathons and competing in running events for Jersey. Over the last ten years I have had several serious flare-ups in my health resulting in months spent in  bed, hospitalised and under heavy medication. Each time I have developed my practice in building back strength and fitness, and learning how to read and work with my body to push it enough to feel more energised but not too much that i regress.

Since my diagnosis I have changed my lifestyle and outlook, focusing on diet, strength training, yoga and running. These are the elements that have become a deep passion for me. I now help others to strengthen, feel more energised and develop a connection with their body which may be transferable into everyday life. I will help you realise that you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it. 

Instead of scrutinizing your body, we will draw attention to establishing a mind-body connection that prioritizes how you feel while still allowing you to get stronger and fitter.
